thegyroshopnyc got their new menu by running a design contest:

I own a small trendy Gyro take out restaurant in New York City. I try to focus on bringing in a younger and more trendy customer, but I also get a lot of mid age working class in the neighborhood.
What's your vision?
I want a simple, trendy, and somewhat modern menu designed that is easy to read and talked about with others.
Simplicity in the design is key, I like modern but with a hint of classic flavors. I have attached my current menu design and I don not like it at all.
$299 Silver package
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Menu starts at ¥21,399.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their menu.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
thegyroshopnyc collaborated with designers to refine their ideas

And then… they selected a winner!
Marcy did an excellent job with the formatting and interior typesetting of this book. Always good with communication and timely response. I would definitely hire Marcy again for the next project!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
