Rob45271 got their new other graphic design by running a design contest:
Be The Designer to CREATE our NEW range of CUFFLINKS! MULTIPLE WINNERS!
Check out Rob45271's Other Graphic Design contest…
We manufacture high quality cufflinks that sell worldwide. We have a range of stock designs and also tailor them to customers needs to produce a fully bespoke cufflink.
What's your vision?
We are looking to expand our cufflink range essentially. A lot of our competitors just buy stock designs from wholesalers but we want to stand out from the crowd. We are looking for you to come up with some designs for new cufflinks. This will be something we do regularly and will probably PURCHASE MULTIPLE DESIGNS so the more people involved the better it is for you! If a particular designer stands out, we may even feature them on our shop and give them a page whereby we will pay them to do a few designs as part of our 'designer range'. There's a lot of scope for designers to get some regular work here and we are completely open to design ideas so it should be fun for all! We will have categories on our shop (e.g. classic, modern, vintage, wedding etc.) so we will pick a category to work on at a time.
As this is fairly simple design work and could be on-going for designers, we are guaranteeing the money but would want a few designs for the money / reward. On this particular range, we are looking to produce some very MODERN / CONTEMPORARY cufflinks and some very TRADITIONAL / CLASSY cuffliks. They have to be designed in a particular way though so let me explain how cufflinks / enamels work: Enamel is a resin, so colours cannot touch. They have to be separated by thin lines of metal. This is what separates the colours and keeps them from bleeding. This needs to be taken into account on the design. I've attached some designs we have done and pictures to show you what I mean. What we require is a coloured version of the artwork along with a black and white version. The black parts of the design should signify raised metal and the white parts recessed metal like in the attachments Example Artwork. For further images and examples, please visit our old site: http://www.esquireoriginals.co.uk/Gallery.aspx Please feel free to do your own shapes if you want to, or if you feel more comfortable sticking to circles, squares and ovals that is fine. Cufflinks aren't to be bigger than 20mm so obviously VERY complicated designs are usually not achievable. Any questions about the design work then please just ask.
