At JC Grason, we work with retirees and those nearing retirement to help them preserve their wealth, plan their future and protect their legacy.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We are running an ad for my investment firm that will be in a Playbill for a local dinner theater production. The target audience is age 55-70 years old.
1 The fonts need to be legible and readable in dim light.
2. The size of the design will be 8 1/2 X 5 1/4 - a half page ad. It must be portrait orientation.
3. I have uploaded a microsoft publisher file titled playbill.pub as well as a pdf by the same name. All of the text in the publisher file needs to be in the completed work. The legal disclaimer at the bottom -the.fine print - should be small, but legible.
4. I would like the completed artwork returned in Adobe Illustrator.
In the preliminary design, I did a general layout, but it could use some life added to it. The background and the fonts are too boring, and I'd like something more polished. I have uploaded all of the picture files that I used in this rough draft. In addition to the logo files, the CFP file and the hugging picture, I have included several pictures of myself beyond the one in which I am wearing a red blouse and a black blazer. This particular picture works with the color scheme that I used in my rough design, but it might be good for your designs to be a bit less "corporate". The people reading the ad will be attending a play, so some of the other pictures would be a bit "warmer" for this audience.
