What's your vision?
***Please note update to design request as of 10/1/11**** I need a cover (front and back) for my latest book, titled "Personal Emergency Communications Primer". The subtitle is "An Introduction to Critical Technology and Equipment". I'm the author - Andrew Baze. I would like the cover to be relatively clean and simple, and contain the following themes in a quadrant structure - one theme in each. (And I'd like the themes to be more like icons, simple but cool graphics, *not* real pictures of items.) * Emergency radio - a walkie-talkie with radio waves coming from the antenna, preferably FRS/GMRS or ham radio type (could be two people, each with a handheld radio, separated and talking with each other) * Two natural disaster graphics separated but in one square - tornado and earthquake (and there should be at least a little fire in the earthquake side of the graphic) * Satellite communication with a satellite phone and/or GPS (the satellite is the important part) * A radio in a car talking with a radio in a house, e.g., a person in a car with an antenna, and a representation of radio waves going to a house that has a similar antenna mounted on the top I will need front and covers for a 5.5"x8" paperback. I can provide exact dimensions as needed. I will also need a "picture" of the book with the cover on it, so I can sell it as an e-book. (The kind of picture that's just the cover in 3-D, with drop shadow, etc. On the back cover, I would like the colors/theming to remain, but leave openings for 1) book summary/description, 2) review quotes, 3) author bio and 4) ISBN info. Please let me know if you have any questions. I will review and reply to emails at least daily!
The cover needs to be simple enough that you can see some detail even when shown as a smaller graphic (e.g., when I post a picture to sell an e-book), but should also look crisp and clean full-size, to use as a print cover.
