Mleexo got their new stationery by running a design contest:
Prohibition Bar Needs a Business Card Design
Check out Mleexo's Stationery contest…
We are a 1920's -1930's themed bar/restaurant that caters to the 25-35 year old, young and trendy crowd through live music ranging from Jazz to Hip Hop. The bar is located in Santa Monica, CA. The intererior design of the restaurant is a speakeasy/prohibition style. The name "The Charleston" refers to a popular dance from that era, but our branding for the business is not focused on that dance but rather on that general era where class, freedom, fashion, rebellion, and jazz were the defining and lasting elements of that era. We're looking to be the hot trendy spot in West Los Angeles.
What's your vision?
A business card that captures both the 1920's 1930's era, but also is modern and hip. I've attached the logo in 3 different file formats, the facade of the building, and a screenshot of the website design.
I do like vertical business cards and I think a 2 sided business card would be cool. However, I'd like to see what you come up with. I'm totally fine with a horizontal card as well. I want the look and feel of the business card to match that of the exterior of the building and the web page. For images of the interior of the bar, check out the following link: http://angelssantamonica.com/#/gallery/4539996318 This link will only be up for a couple of days.
