emily1z got their new web page design by running a design contest:
The AdoptMatch App - Promoting ethical adoptions + looking for a website revamp!
Check out emily1z's Web page design contest…
AdoptMatch is the first mobile app that is connecting expectant mothers pursuing an adoption plan with ethical professionals and waiting adoptive families. We are all about promoting ethical adoptions and those who follow the highest standards within adoption to serve adoptees, expectant/birth parents, and adoptive parents well. Our main target audience: adoption agencies, attorneys, adoption organizations, adoptive parents, and expectant parents who are considering an adoption plan for their unborn baby. AdoptMatch was founded by an adoption attorney, adoptive mother, birth mother, and an adoptee who all understand the change that is needed within the adoption world and are excited to be part of the change toward higher standards within this field.
Minimal / clean lines with pops of brand colors. We love a playful vibe combined with a more clean modern feel. Use of imagery is really important for what we do - ie. photos of our families, graphics, etc- as this is an app about the heart behind adoption which is a very high emotion topic. We are a mobile app but we are also a website for education and adoption resources so we need to showcase both. Our main brand colors are deep/dark purple, orange, and white. And our accent colors are light orange (almost a salmon) and green. I will include an attachment of our color codes. We would love to incorporate more imagery and graphics, but I will attach the ones we have so far. Also, our main brand font is Frontage. We also use Raleway for main text sections but are open to change on this font.
Home: -Reference to mobile app and who we are - include mobile graphic. -Call to actions: “Facing an Unplanned Pregnancy?….” and “Ready to Adopt?….” - would love call to action buttons throughout the Home page -Family feed page section - include preview of profiles of families PLUS call to action to view families -NEW testimonial section - to include multiple client testimonials on our Home page w/ quote and a photo of the family -Footer w/ download app buttons, page tabs, social media buttons, newsletter subscription form section, About AdoptMatch 2 sentence text section -Why AdoptMatch section - can be combined with our guiding principles and ethics and all 1 section. We are open to text change for all of this. -Images with titles and call to actions that link to different pages - see The Little Market website as previously mentioned. -Find Pregnancy Help Near You section - see The Little Market website as previously mentioned. -Section showcasing top products from our sister company The AdoptConnect Marketplace -Add “Follow us on Instagram” section at bottom before footer - include most recent 9 - 12 images/posts -If possible, it will also be great to have one section with our professionals listed - maybe 3 to 4 across the width of the page. Each would include a logo, name of organization and possibly a testimonial quote. Info page: i.e. https://adoptmatch.com/is-open-adoption-good-for-kids/ This would be a template page to be used for all info/educational pages. -Include design options for numbered lists (ie. 3 different colors, fonts). -Title of page -Author bio section option -Click through graphics to other pages Resource page: i.e. https://adoptmatch.com/resource-centers-for-options-education/ This would be a template page for any list type of pages like resource pages. -Include bulleted list - includes name, address, phone, email etc. -Title of page -Call to action button -Click through graphics to other pages
We really want a site (mainly the Home page) that conveys our message of promoting ethical adoptions, connecting families together, promoting adoption organizations, and promoting our community of adoptive parents, birth parents, and adoptees. Call to actions are very important, as well as keeping people on our site and interested by using imagery and graphics and promoting our strong messages of ethics in adoption.
