A recruitment website for the food industry - chefs, restaurant managers, waiters etc.
So far the good designs let me glance at the page and see how to search for a job, post a job, see featured jobs, and see local jobs. There needs to be a main content area with a right hand column for additional information.
1. Homepage A quick search option - enter where they want to work and what kind of job Local jobs based on their IP Featured jobs (recruiters pay to be listed as featured) 2. Search results page Search options with toggle to show advanced options List of job results 3. Create job page Recruiters fill this in to post their job 4. Manage jobs page A private page for the recruiter to see in a table all their jobs
What to avoid
I don't like small font sizes or hard to read text. Please see this site which uses 16px for the p tag. You should be able to read any text without being hunched over the monitor - http://html5boilerplate.com/
The current logo text colour can be changed. It's modified from our other site www.getmecooking.com. A logged in user will see: username | logout As I am an admin I see: Admin | error log | username | logout I know the screenshots are ugly, the buttons, padding, font colour, things don't line up or flow (it's only temporary)... that's why we came to you :-) Here is some sample data to make the 'featured jobs' / 'jobs near Milton Keynes' more realistic. Note that the salary and company name is optional: Chef Kitchen Porter £8 per hour South London Mammia Mia Pizzas -- Head Chef £150 - £200 per day Kent Cafe Rouge -- Pizza Chef £20,000 per year Oxford Dominos -- Temporary Head Chef £20,000 - £25,000 per year Glasgow The Piano Room -- Senior Sous Chef Surrey -- Executive Pastry Chef Wiltshire Horse & Hound
