Online marketing and sales of a variety of gourmet food and snack related products. We specialize in spices and seasonings, granola related products, popcorn snacks, cookies, as well as nuts and related products. Our companies focus is delivering snack foods fresher than the grocery store, but with the convenience of home order and delivery.
Some of the sites that we liked some design elements are: http://www.pepperidgefarm.com/ http://store.tillamookcheese.com/ I really like: http://1800flowers.com/, for the navigation and how they've placed the links to the child companies on tabs at the top of page. i like: http://www.thepopcornfactory.com/, for the simplicity, and how the main focus, when you look at the page, is on the product images.
On the main landing (home) page we'd like showcase a variety of products from all of our subsidiary companies. Each of the child companies will need to link to their corresponding site. We'd also like to incorporate some images of our featured products, as well as some way of selecting different categories of our products. The second page of the two will be for displaying our individual products, and the supporting information as well as some related product suggestions. We'd like the some of second page's design elements to reflect those of the home page. With both pages we'd like to see a clean and simple look, without to many distractions. We'd like the content to be easily recognizable and readable. We'd like both of the pages to be very "design savvy", which projects basic design principals. The main focus for the home page should be on the different companies logo's and a small group of some featured products. On the corresponding page the focus should be on the individual product and description.
I've now posted the Qfoods logo to incorporate into your designs. I don't want to give too much instruction on the layout, because I'd like to see more of your ideas than mine. I wanted to thank all of the designers before hand for what I'm sure will be a great site design. Good Luck
