What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
I am looking for a homepage that can best be described as modern, clean and smart but also friendly. This might include the subtle use of color, grey tone variations in text and lots of empty space (i.e. Hubspot.com.) Hitting on the right combination of modern fonts will be important too. The logo has blue and orange but I don’t want the homepage saturated with orange. I’d like to have some thoughtful photography too but it has to be the right image(s). This is so cliché but I want that simple “Apple experience.” Of course, what I really need are your great ideas of how to put it all together.
This homepage needs to communicate the innovative culture of our company and to be sticky enough for them to view some content or request a quote. Since this product can have a long sales cycle. Providing helpful content for them to read is just as important as them clicking to request a quote. An outline of the page sections will be included in the downloaded documents.
What to avoid
I need your creative brainpower. Please don’t submit thrown together cookie-cutter work.
I’d like the site to be friendly but also serious: Please avoid producing hokey or campy material.
I am competing with a slew of standard sites with file photos and clip art, so I need to be different, but not so off beat that my age 50-70 demographic will be dismayed.
Please refrain from cramming site features on top of each other I’d rather have people scroll a longer page than one that is overwhelming.
The “Bluebird” of the logo font is Opificio from dafont.com and the “health” is Century Gothic Bold. I’m including a layout only to show the content and placement priority. This is not a wireframe. Can’t wait to see your awesome vision for this homepage.
