Creation of a fully usable 1 page PSD template for the Spore fan site sporefans.com. Site will be using wordpress backend so keep that in mind.

Desired Color Scheme: Black - Green - Gray - Orange Desired Style: The site will be coded for a tableless css/xhtml layout for use on WordPress, DO NOT create this site to look like a wordpress blog though. It will have the following sections, header, body(sidebar-content) and footer. Here goes, I need a layout for my Spore fan site called sporefans.com . I will be using word press as a backend and the design is pretty straight forward. I will give you a lot of detail of how I want it laid out, its just up to you to make it all pretty. First off, to give an idea of the style, check out http://www.spore.com/press.php http://www.spore.com/screenshots.php Here are a button and banner I had made, I do not have the PSD's but feel free to use that general colour for the logo or anything. http://www.sporefans.com/images/spore_news.jpg http://www.sporefans.com/images/spore_news_banner.jpg Here is the layout, I split it up into the main section http://www.sporefans.com/images/layout.jpg General The site will not be your normal size to fit a 800 screen, my audiance are gamers that will require a 1024x rez to play the game, so you can design the site to be 950 width or similar. I just spit the design up like that so you have an idea of the major sections, you can create it all in 1 wrapper or container, but it must be in one of those. Take a look at http://wow.azzor.com/ . I would also like some type of background image that fades like that. The biggest thing im looking for is the backgrounds of all the div's and areas to flow in together nice. Header 1 - Logo, nothing too fancy needed, must have URL. 2 - Ad Must have space for a leader board ad 3 - the buttons there are to bring attention to major sections of the sites, or contests we might be having. So have the following buttons atleast "Latest News" "Spore Forums" "Spore Strategy Guide" Body 1- Nav bar - First Off, Your normal Nav bar, Main headings and link to pages. 2- Mini Nav Bar - Just a small section to place links relating to whatever section your browsing, so if they are taking a look at a strategy section, links to other pages in that section show up there 3- Content Area - This will hold either the word press news, or word press page area. 4- Ads - I would like a normal banner at the bottom of the content area, and if possible, maybe a skyscraper to the right, or a sqaure in the middle of content (250x250) Footer 1 -Would like this to contain maybe a spot for another button or logo 2 - Latest Discussion and News - 2 areas that will have 4 or so lines of the latest news posts or discussion 3 - Normal Footer links - contact, legal,advertise
