****ENGLISH**** I'm Mario Luna (feel free to google me), this is my fifth and best book by far. I'm sure this project could change the world and make us better human beings if we make it compelling enough. To achieve that goal, I need your amazing talent. Why is this book so different from many other "self-help" books? Aside from the fact that I put on it countless hours and that it has more than 900 pages, let me show you just a few unique traits: 1. Its scientifically backed. Unlike many self-help books, and doesn't rely on superstition or magic thought, and constantly quotes all kind of scientific studies and experiments. 2. Despite being so rigorous, its tone is casual and fun. As a writer, I make sure the reader smiles at least once almost every page. 3. It has many cool charachters, which represent different limiting and empowering aspects of our personality. 4. It's a bit irreverent and unconventional and challenges many clichés of the genre. As I said before, we don't need more magic thought. 5. It's the only book co-written by the author and by "the best version of yourself". 6. It doesn't give you just a collection of principles, but a thorough and consistent philosophy (the more you read and re-read the 900 pages, the more everything makes sense). 7. It's more expensive than most books, so the printed version costs 55€ (but it has to compete with all other books on the shelves, so we need the potential reader must perceive that value from the cover as well). 8. As I mentioned before, I think this book could really make the world a better place, because it could upgrade humanity and help countries to develop from within. I see this as an opportunity to make history for both the author and the cover designer, since a great book needs a great cover to meet its true potential. This book is targetted to individuals who understand that, in order to get more they have to be and do more, so it's important they get the idea by the cover. ****ESPAÑOL (SPANISH)**** Coaching personal integral dirigido a personas ambiciosas y emprendedoras, que entienden que para obtener más han de ser y hacer más.

We need a design for the book cover IN SPANISH with the following features: TITLE: Psicología del Éxito (it means psychology of success) SUBTITLE (optional): Sintoniza con la frecuencia ganadora (it means “Tune in with the Winner’s frequency”) AUTHOR: Mario Luna CO-AUTHOR (fictitious): Con la colaboración de "Tu Mejor Tú" (it means “With the collaboration of the best version of yourself). SELLING PRICE: 55€ for the printed version and y 33€ for the digital version. NUMBER OF PAGES: 900 TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT -Very clean, sober and Zen design. We don’t want it too baroque or overdone. -Our favorite font for this project is Helvetica Neue, so we would like that kind of font or a similar one (that evokes the same type of spirit). -Please the tittle must be the main character, specially the word “ÉXITO” (success), so it must be very visible and stressed. -It must reflect the high quality of its content and its high value, which we consider superior to most books of its type (we must remember that its selling price will be 55€). -It would also be desirable that it had some fun, casual element, since the book has some humor in it, a casual, light-hearted tone and sometimes becomes even irreverent. ****ESPAÑOL (SPANISH)**** Necesito el diseño de la portada de un libro con las siguientes características: TÍTULO: Psicología Del Éxito SUBTÍTULO: (opcional): Sintoniza con la frecuencia ganadora AUTOR: Mario Luna COMENTARIO (Co-autor ficticio): Con la colaboración de "Tu Mejor Tú" PRECIO DE VENTA AL PÚBLICO: 55€ en papel y 33€ versión digital. A TENER EN CUENTA: -Diseño muy limpio, sobrio y zen, poco cargado. -Mi fuente favorita para este proyecto es helvetica neue, por lo que me gustaría que se usase ese tipo de fuente, similar o una que evocase lo mismo. -Gran protagonismo al título (especialmente la palabra éxito). -Ha de reflejar mucha calidad en el contenido y su valor y rigor superior a la mayoría de libros de este tipo (de hecho, su precio de venta al público es 55€ en papel y 33€ en la versión digital). -Sería deseable que tuviera algún elemento divertido, ya que el contenido contiene humor y un tono informal.

****ENGLISH**** OBSERVATIONS With this book the author tried to write the best, most rigorous, complete and scientifically backed self-help book ever. At the same time, its tone is fun, light-hearted, casual and sometimes irreverent. Above all, we want its cover to show its enormous value to the reader, its high quality and the rigor that its author has put in it through countless hours of depuration and research. So, our main goal is that the reader perceives that they are buying a diamond from the very moment they look at it. If you are also able to achieve that it reflects this touch of rebellion, challenge and fun of its style, the cover would be successful (although this is secondary compared with the main goal: to be perceived as a “diamond”.) MAIN GOAL: The potential buyer who decides not to invest 55€ in this “jewel” of almost 1.000 pages to change their life, must feel very guilty for days. SAMPLE: We enclose a sample for those designers who read Spanish of 100 pages out of its 900 pages. ABOUT THE AUTHOR PICTURES: The pictures of the author we enclose are actually from himself. If you work on this idea, it’s essential that you use his own pictures and also that the tittle (specially the word “éxito”) is quite visible. ABOVE ALL: We don’t want to contaminate or condition any creative idea you may have that gets the job done. As long as it works accomplishing our main goal (which is to make a book cover very appealing to the public and make the book feel like a diamond in their hands), we will be very interested in seeing what your creative mind comes up with (even if it has nothing to do at all with any ideas from the samples). Thank you in advance for your work and caring as much as we do for the success of this project. ****ESPAÑOL (SPANISH)**** Con este libro he intentado escribir el mejor, más riguroso, completo y científicamente respaldado libro de superación personal que existe. A la vez, el estilo (y recursos usados) son amenos, informales y divertidos. Ante todo, quiero que la portada refleje el enorme valor que tiene este libro para el lector, su altísima calidad y el rigor que el autor ha puesto en él a través de incontables horas de depuración e investigación. Es decir, mi objetivo es que ante todo el lector perciba que está adquiriendo un diamante de libro. Si además de eso conseguimos que refleje ese toque rebelde, desafiante y divertido de su estilo, la portada sería redonda (pero esto es secundario en comparación con que ante todo sea percibido como un diamante). OBJETIVO PRIORITARIO: El comprador potencial que no invierta los 55€ que vale esta joya de casi 1.000 páginas ha de quedarse con serios remordimientos. FRAGMENTO: Adjunto fragmento con las primeras 100 páginas (¡tiene 900!) y cinco ideas previas de portada que, aunque no están mal, no terminan de convencerme para un proyecto de tal embergadura. NOTA SOBRE EL AUTOR: Si se usa a una persona en la propuesta de portada, es importante que sea él. En este tipo de propuestas, es importante que el título tenga más relevancia y visibilidad que en el ejemplo que hemos adjuntado. LO MÁS IMPORTANTE: Con todo, no queremos contaminar ni condicionar tu creatividad, por lo que siempre que nos ofrezcas algo que cumpla nuestro principal objetivo (que el lector sienta que está sosteniendo un diamante en sus manos), estaremos interesados en verlo, aun cuando no tenga nada que ver con las muestras.
