Il s'agit d'un roman en 3 volumes qui se passe dans un futur dystopique où des hommes ont créés un duché fictif composé de clones dans lequel des riches viennent s'amuser. Le monde autour s'est effondré. Les cités sont contrôlés par des bandes qui y font la loi et les plus riches vivent dans des zones contrôlées fermées sur elles même. Harmonie est censé être un havre de paix au milieu du chaos des Terres Sauvages. Cette histoire conte la prise de rébellion d'un clone et sa rencontre avec une jeune voleuse forcée de collaborer avec les autorités de ce Duché.
