About Dee Dee is a new café-restaurant venture launching its first venue in London (target: Feb 2026). We serve fine coffee, gourmet sandwiches, French crêpes, salad bowls, tea, juices and smoothies in a refined, welcoming environment inspired by nature, art and thoughtful technology. Sustainability is central (responsible sourcing, low-impact materials), and we host community events (art & design sessions, beginner barista classes, coffee tastings, 3D-printing demos). Tagline (optional in lockups): "Fine Coffee, Fresh Food — Inspired by Nature & Art" Brand personality & keywords: Refined, warm, contemporary, creative, nature-led, sustainable, community-minded, subtly tech-savvy. Target audience: Young adults and adults who enjoy quality coffee and food with friends, colleagues and family; design-conscious locals; remote workers; weekend brunch crowd. What we need: - Primary logo (for signage/shopfront and menus) - Secondary/stacked logo + icon/monogram (for cups, social avatar, app icon) - Mini brand guide (3–6 pages) covering: Colour palette (Pantone/CMYK/RGB/HEX) with light/dark use Typography recommendations (headline + body; accessible web-safe or Google Fonts ok) Clear space, minimum sizes, one-color and reverse usage Example applications (cup, storefront, social post) Deliverables: Vector files (AI/EPS/PDF), web SVG + transparent PNGs, color specs, font names/links (and licensing notes). Creative direction Wordmark + symbol approach preferred. Explore “Dee” in Title Case and lowercase (friendly “dee”). Tagline should be optional and legible at small sizes. Must work in single colour for stamps/emboss/deboss and laser-cut signage; scale down well for a cup lid sticker. Avoid generic clip-art (literal coffee bean/cup) unless treated in an original, minimal way. Colour & type (guidance, not restrictions) Palettes that feel natural, modern, and premium: - Forest green / charcoal / cream, with an accent (copper or moss). - Alternatively: deep slate / off-white / muted sage. Typography: elegant humanist sans or contemporary serif paired with a clean sans for body. Prioritize excellent legibility and friendly rhythm. Practical constraints: Works on exterior signage, cups, aprons, menu boards, website/social. High contrast variants for accessibility (aim WCAG AA where possible). Provide one-color, reverse, and small-size variants. What to submit (qualifying round) - Primary logo, secondary/stacked, and icon/monogram on white and dark backgrounds. - A quick mock-up on cup, shopfront, and Instagram avatar. - A 1–2 page mini guide preview (colours, type, usage). Legal - Original work only. - List any licensed fonts used and their licensing requirements.
