After a few days of designing, my boss and I found that everyone's design was too consistent and monotonous. My boss wasn't very happy to these designs. Maybe I didn't brief it clearly enough. Here I explain clearly for everyone in detail and hope we can get more designs from you all. The logo design basic requirements: - No Black / Dark Background - No More than 3 colours in a logo - Prefer funky colours : maroon, pink, purple, tiffany blue and maybe gold (target audience: age under 30s) - Change font. Keep fun. - Design a mascot (cute / simple / symbolic, pls refer to photos provided) Hotel information: - It’s boutique hotel. Not 5-star hotel. - Target audience: Age under 30s, Teenagers, friends, mostly Malaysian and China people. - The hotel located at historical street in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, the street name is Bukit Bintang, Means Star hill. - 国宝is a Chinese words of country’s treasure. 公馆is residences / premium suit. Ideas and suggestion for Designer: - Symbolic design preferred: you may research what is the special and symbol in Malaysia. Example: We only have Tiger but no Lion in Malaysia. And Malaysia Sport team is using Tiger as our symbolic. - Malaysia has 3 races: Malay, Indian and Chinese. Our target audience is people from China (That’s why we remain 国宝 as name to attract the Chinese), you can search the history of China as references, my boss remained me that China Doll, Chinese Fan, Chinese Umbrella and maybe mythological animals of china also could be mascot. - We target age under 30 and this is a boutique hotel. We are looking for fun design to attract those teenager and young people to check in our hotel. - Design as many as you can, so we can comment more on your design. And maybe we could combine the design you have. You can change the font, change the mascot, change the colour to let us imagine what is more suitable for our hotel. Don’t limit yourself in the font, mascot, and colour. Sometime boss is busy and he can’t imagine. So once you put only few options and he will directly reject your design. - If you have any question, please message me. I will try to reply as soon as possible. - You may try few options with only 国宝 two words or 国宝公馆. Remember Guong bao residences need to add inside too.
