About us
CIV is an Italian research centre developing new strawberry and apple varieties. We had to create a figurative/lettering/branding logo for a trademark associated with a new clone of a striped Gala apple, which is the main characteristic of this apple. The trademark is TIGERGALA and we associated the word ‘Tiger’ to recall the characteristic of this striped apple. Gala apples are generally uniformly coloured apples, whereas TIGERGALA has characteristic stripes that make it very interesting.

Our target customer is a grower and therefore we are interested in BtoB communication, for the sale of the plants (not the fruit) in the Far East (India) and European markets In apple growing, lettering is generally just as important as the figurative logo, so the lettering associated with this variety is more important than a figurative logo.
