About us
µPlant is a small-scale flexible model factory used as test and demo platform for developing new operation and automation concepts. It consists of two fluid processing islands, a manufacturing cell for small balls, a warehouse and mobile robots that transport material between the units. As these units are heterogeneous, µPlant represents a highly interconnected (networked) and complex production facility. Targeted are R&D-groups in companies and universities as project partners but also students should be attracted.
