Logo required for new financial company – Liberty Pensions

Liberty Pensions are a newly formed company offering SIPPs (Self-Invested Personal Pensions), a new style of personal pension in the UK. We are looking for a fresh, clean and professional logo that can be used for both online and offline marketing material.

Accepted File Formats: Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) At this stage, there are few hard constraints here. The original thinking within the team has been around the use of the liberty torch theme. See: www.fourhats.com/images/uploads/liberty.pdf   This is a nice theme, but this particular example is quite muted and traditional. It would work ok for printed material, but less well online. We’re looking for an updated logo that incorporates the characteristics that Liberty Pensions is trying to represent: liberty, freedom of choice, professionalism, honesty, clarity, security and trust. Maybe a more stylised version of a liberty torch might be a starting point, but we leave it up to your creative interpretation. Again, if you have a non-torch-related idea, feel free to try it out.     We’re looking for something that is bold and clear.     We would like to see how the logo would be used on a business card, letterhead, powerpoint document.     Prizes will be awarded separately for the logo itself, and for the delivery of the stationary incorporating the logo in the design.   You will need to provide links to all stock artwork that you incorporate into your design.     Our commitment to you, the designer: We will do our best to be honest, fair and punctual with our feedback.
