Von privat für privat können Möbel gehandelt oder Services angeboten werden. Die Marke soll "Lokalität", "Heimat", "um die Ecke", "mein Viertel-mein Kiez" repräsentieren. Zielgruppe sind Internetnutzer, überwiegend Frauen, die sich gerne gut einrichten aber dabei wenig Geld ausgeben wollen. The portal "wohnkiez.de" offers free classifieds and information concerning home furnishing, furniture, craftsman-services and relocation-services. Furniture and services can be traded privately. The brand shall communicate "local", "home", "just around the corner", "my district". Target audience: Internet-users – mainly women – who have a liking for home furnishing, but are price-conscious and not willing to spend too much money.

In future there will be more portals containing the suffix "-kiez.de"; therefore the suffix should be usable in multiple contexts.
