About us
Die Übersetzung der japanischen Zeichen für Ju-Jitsu lautet "sanfte Kunst" oder auch "Wissenschaft von der Nachgiebigkeit". Ju bzw. Jiu steht für "weich, sanft, nachgeben, ausweichen" und Jutsu bzw. Jitsu für "Technik, Kunst". Ju-Jitsu hat seine Wurzeln in China (erste Erwähnung um 1650), perfektioniert wurde es in Japan als Jiu-Jitsu durch die Samurai, um bei Verlust der Hauptwaffen weiterkämpfen zu können. Selbstverteidigung, (Kampf-)Spiel, (Kampf-)Sport und Kampfkunst. Diese vier Aspekte werden nebeneinander gepflegt. Sie ermöglichen Vielfalt und befruchten sich gegenseitig. Wo Ju-Jitsu drauf steht sollte keine dieser "Zutaten" fehlen. Ju-Jitsu ist auch Sport. Im Training werde Koordination (Reaktion, Orientierung, Gleichgewicht etc.), Kondition und Kraft genauso gefördert und geschult wie Emotion und Kognition. Zielgruppe: Jugendliche ab 16 Jahren und Erwachsene
