Sorghum Syrup Spirits “CODELLANNI” Barrel Aged 2020

(The notation in English is after the Japanese.) ソルガムシロップは、米国中東部ではポピュラーな食材で、メープルシロップやアガペーシロップに似ている、グルテンフリーの健康食材ですが、日本ではまだあまり普及していません。 ただ、ソルガム自体は、和名モロコシ、タカキビと言われていて、日本でも実は、昔から雑穀として親しまれていました。 シロップが収穫できる糖分の多い品種は、日本では、実は牛の餌用の品種でしたが、牛の餌になる前に、シロップだけ人間が頂いて、お酒を造ろうと思って作ったのが、このソルガムスピリッツになります。２０１９年に、既にソルガムスピリッツ「コデランニ」は、発表し発売されていますが、（コデランニショップウェブサイトhttps://www.codellanni.shop/wp/） ２０２０年にこのスピリッツを樽仕込みしまして、３年の熟成期間を経て、この度、 “ソルガムシロップスピリッツ「コデランニ」樽熟成” のリリースとなりました。 なお、ソルガムシロップから作られたスピリッツは、日本で最初となります。 樽熟成を経たこのスピリッツは、ウィスキーと見間違うほどの美しい琥珀色の仕上がりになっていて、３年と言う短い熟成期間とは思えないほどの、まろやかさと芳醇な味わいが特徴です。 しかも、大変まろやかで飲みやすく、まるで７年とか１２年などの長期熟成ウィスキーのような芳醇な味わいを、気軽に、手軽に味わえる仕上がりになっています。 最後に、このスピリッツの原料となるソルガムシロップの普及に関連して、広くソルガムの栽培事業は、今後、世界の飼料事情の改善や再生可能エネルギー普及促進に寄与するものと確信をしています。 Product description: Sorghum syrup is a popular ingredient in the Middle East of the United States. It is similar to maple syrup and agape syrup, and is a gluten-free, healthy ingredient. However, sorghum itself is called Morokoshi or Takakibi in Japanese, and in fact, it has long been popular in Japan as a millet. In Japan, the varieties with a high sugar content from which syrup can be harvested were actually used as feed for cattle, but before they all became cattle feed, I thought we human being would like to squeeze the stems and get only syrup to make alcohol from it and then we made this sorghum spirits. In 2019, the first sorghum spirits “Codelanni” has already been released. (Codelanni shop website https://www.codellanni.shop/wp/) In 2020, we prepared this spirit in barrels. After a three-year aging period and finally “Sorghum Syrup Spirits “Codelanni” Barrel Aged”” has been released. In addition, spirits made from sorghum syrup is the first in Japan. This spirit, which has undergone barrel aging, has a beautiful amber finish that can be mistaken for whiskey. Moreover, it is very mellow and easy to drink, and it has a rich taste like a long-term aged whiskey such as 7 or 12 years old, so you can easily enjoy it readily. Finally, in connection with the spread of sorghum syrup, which is the raw material of this spirit, we are confident that the sorghum cultivation business will contribute to the improvement of the world's feed situation and the promotion of renewable energy in the future.

(The notation in English is after the Japanese.) 男性でも女性でも、若い方からご年配の方まで、スピリッツ特有のすっきりとして、素朴でシンプルは味わいをお楽しみ頂けると存じます。 が、特に、７年とか１２年などの長期熟成ウィスキーのような芳醇な味わいを求めておられる方で、とかく高価なこういった高級ウィスキーやビンテージウィスキーのような味わいに少し手が出しづらいと感じておられるお客様には、特におすすめ致します。 度数の高さを気にせず、ソフト＆スムーズだけど、豊かで深い高級感のある豊潤な味わいをお楽しみ頂けると存じます。 Target audience for the product: We believe that both men and women, young and old alike, will enjoy the clean, rustic and simple taste that is unique to spirits. However, especially for those who are looking for a mellow taste like a long-aged whiskey, such as 7 or 12 years and feel that it is a bit difficult to get a taste like this expensive high-end whiskey or vintage whiskey, I highly recommend it to anyone who feels this way. Without worrying about the high alcohol content, you can enjoy the soft and smooth yet rich and deep luxurious taste.

(The notation in English is after the Japanese.) 今回の商品に使われるスピリッツボトルOutlaw の仕様(500cc/ml)は、資料として提示させて頂いていますので、 ご参照ください。 このボトルをベースとして、商品の顔となる、正面のメインラベルのデザインをお願いいたします。 ロゴは、既にご紹介した「CODELLANNI」を、資料の一部としてお送りしたガイドラインに沿って、お使いください。 下記、表記は、必ずデザインに加えてください。 Sorghum Syrup Spirits CODELLANNI Barrel Aged 2020 Serial Number ### （この初期ロットは、すべてのボトルにシリアルナンバーを入れる予定です。シリアルナンバーの表記の仕方は、たとえば、＃１２３　と言う表記だけでもOKです。） ラベル内の文字表記は、英語またはイタリア語、でお願いします。 商品の内容やそれからインスパイアされた表現などを加えて頂いてももちろんかまいません。 ソルガム自体の植物・植生イラストなど、他の要素を加えて頂いても問題ありません。 ラベルのサイズや位置、素材などについても、決まりはありません。 瓶に直接印刷するタイプのデザインでも問題ありません。 なお、今回のコンペは、正面メインラベルになりますが、コンペで優勝されたデザイナー様には、裏ラベルと、キャップシールのデザインをその後にお願いする予定を考えています。 Requested label design: Please refer to the specifications (500cc/ml) of the spirits bottle Outlaw used in this product. Based on this bottle, please design the main label on the front, which will be the face of the product. Please use the "CODELLANNI" logo, which has already been introduced, according to the guidelines attached hereto in the reference data. Please be sure to add the following contents to the design: Sorghum Syrup Spirits CODELLANI Barrel Aged 2020 Serial Number ### (For this initial lot, we plan to put serial numbers on all bottles. As for the serial number notation, for example, just #123 is OK.) Text on the label should be in English or Italian. Of course, you can add the content of the product and the expressions inspired by it. There is no problem if you add other elements such as illustrations of plants and vegetation of sorghum itself. There are no rules regarding the size, position, material, etc. of the label. If your design is printed directly onto the bottle, that's fine too. This competition will be for the front main label only, but we are planning to ask the designer who won the competition to design the back label and cap sticker after that.

(The notation in English is after the Japanese.) ① 表面ラベルに、日本語の文字表記は加えないでください。日本語訳文相当のコンテンツは裏面ラベルに入れたいと考えています。 ② メインラベルは、側面から正面に巻き付くようにつながるデザインでも問題ありませんが、酒税法等に基づく商品表示ラベルを、商品の背面などどこかにに貼らないといけませんので、その部分のスペースは、ある程度確保しておいてください。商品表示ラベルの面積は、約5cm x 8cm 程度を考えています。 ③ 何か特定の対象を排除するような、または、取り立ててこの商品の優越性を誇示するようなイメージやニュアンスを連想させるデザインは避けてください。法律でお酒を楽しめる人なら、誰にでもアクセスしてもらい、楽しんでもらえる商品でありたいので。 ④ 添付しました資料やデータの中に、デザインを検討する際に、これまで参考にした写真などがありますが、それらのイメージやニュアンスにこだわりはありませんし、このコンペのゴールとしてそれらに沿ったものである必要があるという意味ではありません。それらにとらわれることなく、自由に考えて頂いて問題はありません。すべての可能性を排除したくないからです。 Avoidance factors and precautions that you do not want to add: (1) Do not add Japanese characters to the front label. We would like to put the content equivalent to the Japanese translation on the back label. (2) The main label can be designed to wrap from the side to the front and there is no problem on it. However, the product display label based on the Liquor Tax Act must be attached somewhere, such as on the back of the product, so please secure some space for that part. The area of the product display label should be around 5cm x 8cm and or so. (3) Avoid designs that evoke images or nuances that exclude any specific object or highlight the superiority of this product. We want to be a product that anyone who is legally allowed to enjoy alcohol can access and enjoy. (4) In the attached materials and data, there are photos that I have referred to when considering the design, but I am not particular about the images and nuances of them, and I do not think the goal of this competition is to follow them. There is no problem if you think freely without being bound by them because I don't want to rule out all possibilities.

ラベルデザインは、ボトルのサイズに合わせてください。 また、ラベルデザインのサイズについては、上述の注意事項をご確認ください。 ボトルの仕様や写真は、”reference data” フォルダーの中の、”bottle spec” のフォルダーの中に、ありますので、ご参照ください。ボトルは、Outlaw 500cc/ml になります。 Product/design size: Match the label design to the size of the bottle.
