Design an awesome wine bottle label for Guns N' Rosé

Guns N Rosé is an award winning and delicious rosé wine from Provence, France that is going to take London by storm this summer.

The brief: Design an iconic wine label for Guns N' Rosé Background: Rosé wine has seen a dramatic rise in popularity recently. Whilst historically it was seen as a lower class wine, to be avoided at almost all costs, it has now transformed its image. There is now no stigma attached to drinking rosé. In fact it is now the 'coolest' of the three as it shuns the pretentious overtones classically connected to red and white wine. It is now synonymous with lighthearted summer parties whilst drinking with friends. It is also strongly connected to the ‘Jet Set’ scenes such as the Hamptons, Miami, St Tropez and Ibiza. Since it is distinct from red and white wine in that it does not carry the same gravitas and, as such, can be branded in a much more light-hearted, fun and innovative way. Guns N Rosé combines a great product with a brand that is young, bold, playful and most definitely irreverent. Insight: I want to turn up to a BBQ in the sunshine with a cool bottle of decent wine that gets noticed and commented on, but doesn't make me look like I've "overspent". Target audience: Young professionals in London who have disposable incomes. They are part of the ‘Easyjet Generation’, spending regular weekends in swanky beach clubs on the continent. They love chilled electro music, long parties by the pool and Instagram the highlights to their mates back home. A magnum of rosé is a small hint of Nikki Beach vibes in their back garden. Design considerations: - Less is more. People need to see the name and design and think, "hey that's cool" as opposed to being told, "this is cool". So let the name "Guns N’ Rosé" and the simple iconic design do the talking - Reflect the taste cues of the wine. Think clean-cut, crisp, refreshing, and light. - Avoid lashings of pink colour. Consider what will offset the colour of the wine in a crisp clean way. - Don't get too hung up on copying Guns N’ Roses album covers. Our audience has heard of them but is unlikely to recognise any albums. - Avoid too much gothic design language.

I am open to seeing the label space used in different ways. The maximum it should be is 9.5cm x 13cm. The bottle itself is a typical high-shoulder design. The wine itself is a pale Provençal Rosé. The label can either be a simple rectangle of blocked colour or can make use of transparency in places, using the light pink of the wine behind. Other than the name: Guns N' Rosé , the only other text necessary to include is 'Cotes de Provence' and '2014'.
