Marestel "L’icône"

Château de La Mar (CDLM) is a wine estate (7ha) of Savoy wine located in the heart of the Marestel cru, the flagship of Savoy. We are selling premium wines: 4 whites (same cru) and 2 reds (Pinot, Modondeuse). FOR THIS CONTEST: please work on the label for the cuvé “L’Icône”. That's our high end wine. Keep in mind that the label should be cohesive with the other "cuvés" that will be worked through a 1 to 1 project.

Our target audience is wealthy middle-aged and seniors: 40 and above. Men or women who are wine lovers, even connoisseurs. With a net income above 50Keuros and well above. They know their wines and are kind of fed up with the speculating bubble around Bordeaux and burgundy wines.

CDLM - Brief 99 Design.pdf -> Cover in detail the information. We want to design front and back labels. We want the layout of the front and back labels to be consistent across the cuvés. And play with subtle differentiating elements like a symbol or a color change in order to be able to distinguish one from another. Front label should inspire curiosity, a sense of high-end quality, very minimal. Back label should showcase the castle and its vineyard (very unique in Savoy) and legal information. Overall we are trying to find the balance between the heritage of the place and the modernity of where we want to bring our wines. We are looking to be the leader in the wine in Savoy.
