Québec (the city) sits on the Saint Lawrence River in Canada's mostly French-speaking Québec province. Dating to 1608, it has a fortified colonial core, Vieux-Québec and Place Royale, with stone buildings and narrow streets. This area is the site of the towering Château Frontenac Hotel and imposing Citadelle of Québec. The city has a tremendous tourism business in the summer (especially U.S. cruise ships ) but draws people from all over the Province as well. As one of Canada's largest souvenir manufacturers - we have struggled to create captivating designs for this city. You can draw on iconic symbols such as the Fleur de Les, the maple Leaf, local buildings etc. The local souvenir stores typically carry very straight forward designs - almost "varsity" looking, and almost "boring" and are hard to differentiate one from another (but it does seem to work) - and it means your designs could easily stand out from them.

Always refer to it as Québec - NEVER - Quebec City, as there has always been tension in this French speaking Province with English. She is after all - La Belle Provence!
