Agée de 36 ans, Oriane Lapouge vit en banlieue parisienne en France. Elle est professeure d'économie gestion en section technologique en lycée et est mère de trois enfants. Ed Ba est son premier roman.
Book description
Il s'agit de deux histoires d'amour impossible. La première est celle de deux esclaves s'échappant du Mississippi via le chemin de fer clandestin dans les années 1860. La seconde est celle d'une journaliste blanche et d'un enseignant noir, tous deux mariés, se rencontrant durant le summer project dans les années 1960 dans le Mississippi. Les thèmes principaux sont l'amour, la liberté et l'absence de liberté.

Design needs
Ed Ba correspond à deux surnoms de personnes qui s'aiment plus que tout mais qui ne peuvent pas vivre ensemble. Une étoile dans la constellation d'Orion a été nommé en leur nom. J'aimerais qu'une étoile apparaisse sur la couverture ou un ciel étoilé également. Ed Ba écrit en police style Script. Pour le reste, ce sont des combats personnels pour fuir l'esclavage (période 1860 usa) ou aider les noirs à avoir plus de droits dans le Mississippi en 1964. Je m'attarde surtout sur les écoles de la liberté où était enseigné l'histoire des noirs américains. Si l'amour vrai mais impossible peut être représenté également ce serait un plus.
