Carson McCall was found shot in the alley behind the Booker Building. And Brody’s quirky neighbor was seen fleeing the scene.

To Bullock, there is not a short story. His stories are rarely linear. They’re like an audio presentation of that kid’s path from school to home in the Family Circus comic strip.")
