The logo is for a new true-crime podcast hosted by, Christine Mannina, a female homicide detective with the highest solve rate in the country and a 100% conviction rate. Chris shares riveting and often chilling cases from her career, welcomes listeners' involvement when she reviews cold cases, divulges tricks of the trade, and teaches listeners how to be detectives in their everyday lives. It is the first and only podcast hosted by a female homicide detective.
My Approach:
I chose to create a silhouette from the host's photo as the main face of the logo. To make it more relevant to the podcast's theme and topics, I added a detective hat to the host's head. The combination of the face silhouette design and a mysterious color scheme makes the logo more iconic.

For my design, I used an animal theme, as it is universal for both a boy and a girl. Also, such a simple flat style will appeal to parents, which will highlight the product on the shelf.")

In other words, VR Frag is mixing the physical movement aspect of laser tag or paintball with the graphics and gameplay of modern day PC or Console shooter games.
